Pynect Releases New-Generation 900-2400nm Reflectance NIR Spectrometer

Pynect has officially released a new-generation broadband reflectance near-infrared (NIR) spectrometer covering the 900-2400nm wavelength range, targeting rapid testing and modeling applications in the food, agriculture, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Product Highlights

  • 900-2400nm broadband coverage: simultaneously covers the short-wave NIR (SW-NIR) and long-wave NIR (LW-NIR) absorption regions, including the absorption features of moisture, protein, fat, starch, plastics and pharmaceutical excipients, providing richer information for modeling.
  • Large sampling window: uses a sapphire scanning window with a typical collection area of about 16mm in diameter, suitable for inhomogeneous samples such as granules, powders and sheets, reducing sampling error.
  • Stable contact measurement: the working distance accommodates the thickness of the sample container; sensitivity is better within 5mm, with about 2mm as the recommended working distance for good measurement repeatability.
  • High signal-to-noise optical design: a single-element InGaAs detector paired with a DLP digital micromirror spectral architecture delivers a signal-to-noise ratio of up to 3000:1 @ 2200nm, supporting Linear, Hadamard and Slew Scan acquisition modes.
  • Integrated design: fully enclosed with a protective housing, providing a USB-C interface and a bundled 5V/3A power adapter, plug-and-play for easy integration into production lines and QC stations.
