Spectrometer Module Housing Machining and Marking Services
Drawing on years of experience in the design and production of complete spectroscopy instruments, Pynect offers housing machining and marking services for spectrometer modules, helping customers quickly turn bare modules into mass-producible, sellable and traceable complete instruments.
Services
1. Housing Structural Design
- Structural design solutions based on module dimensions, thermal requirements and interface layout;
- A choice of materials including aluminum alloy, stainless steel and engineering plastics;
- Optical windows, ventilation holes, mounting holes and cable routing are all taken into account to ensure manufacturability.
2. Precision Machining
- CNC machining with controllable dimensional accuracy;
- Optional surface treatments such as sandblasting, anodizing, wire drawing and baking paint, balancing protection and appearance;
- Reserved optical windows and sealing design, compatible with sapphire, quartz and other window materials.
3. Marking and Traceability
- Laser marking for permanent identification of model, serial number, logo and QR code;
- Markings can be linked to factory test data for after-sales traceability and quality management;
- Custom brand marking to meet OEM labeling requirements.
4. Assembly and Testing
- Module assembly, optical path alignment and full-unit burn-in testing;
- Wavelength calibration and performance testing completed unit by unit before shipment, with a test report attached;
- Optional power adapters, USB-C cables and packaging design.
Application Scenarios
- Spectrometer module → enclosed complete instrument: packaging a bare module into a directly sellable instrument product;
- Production-line QC equipment integration: customized mounting structures embedded into automated inspection stations;
- Portable device development: lightweight housing design and handheld-device structural optimization;
- Research prototype transition: smooth transition from small-batch prototyping to mass production.
Quality and Delivery Assurance
Housing machining and marking are completed in-house, with appearance inspection, dimensional sampling and assembly verification performed before every batch shipment to ensure batch consistency. Laser marking content can be confirmed through a pre-production sample before mass production, avoiding losses from batch marking errors. The typical lead time for regular batch orders is about 10-15 working days, subject to final confirmation of the solution.
Cooperation Process
- Requirements discussion: provide the module model, usage scenario, quantity and appearance requirements;
- Solution confirmation: deliver the structural solution, material/process and quotation;
- Prototype verification: produce a first article to confirm assembly, thermal and marking results;
- Mass production: sign the production order and deliver on schedule with test reports.
